We are excited to announce a major milestone for SIP Caller: our platform now supports AI functionality, bringing the power of large language models directly into your outbound calling campaigns.
Until now, dialers have relied on scripted prompts, static Text-to-Speech messages, and amplitude-based Answering Machine Detection. With this release, SIP Caller introduces two brand-new AI-powered capabilities that make your campaigns smarter, more natural, and more effective: AI Conversational Agents and AI-Based Voicemail Detection.
AI Conversational Agents allow SIP Caller to hold a natural, two-way conversation with the person who answers the call, instead of just playing a pre-recorded or Text-to-Speech message.
When creating an AI Conversational Agent, you define:

This opens the door to use cases that were previously out of reach for automated outbound calling, such as confirming appointments through a real conversation, collecting a payment commitment, verifying customer information, or qualifying a lead, all without an agent having to pick up the phone.
Answering Machine Detection has always been a core part of SIP Caller, helping predictive and power dialer campaigns avoid connecting agents to voicemail. With AI-Based Voicemail Detection, we take this a big step further.
Instead of only analyzing the amplitude of the audio, AI-Based Voicemail Detection streams the call audio in real time to an AI agent that actually understands what is being said. Because it comprehends spoken content, it can reliably tell apart a live person, a company IVR, and a voicemail system, and react accordingly.
AI-Based Voicemail Detection can also handle automated call screeners on your behalf. If a screener asks the caller to press 1 to continue, the agent sends the DTMF digit automatically. If a screener asks who is calling and why, the agent can answer with the caller's name and the purpose of the call, exactly as you configured it.

Both AI Conversational Agents and AI-Based Voicemail Detection are included with the Enterprise plan, at no extra cost from SIP Caller.
The only cost involved is for the AI tokens consumed during each call, which is billed directly by the AI provider to your own account. SIP Caller does not add any markup or intermediary fee on top of your AI usage: you connect your own provider account, and you pay the provider directly for what you use.
SIP Caller lets you configure your AI Provider once and reuse it across as many AI Conversational Agents and AI Voicemail Detection Agents as you need. At launch, we support two leading AI providers:

You can connect your own Azure or Gemini account from the "AI Providers" section under Settings, and start assigning it to your AI Conversational Agents or AI Voicemail Detection Agents right away.
AI Conversational Agents and AI-Based Voicemail Detection are available now for all Enterprise plan customers. Head over to the SIP Caller console to create your AI Provider configuration and launch your first AI-powered campaign.
