Introducing Customizable Number Selection in SIP Caller: FIFO or LIFO
We are excited to announce a powerful new feature in SIP Caller that gives users greater control over how numbers are dialed in their campaigns. Now, you can define the number selection algorithm to be either First In, First Out (FIFO) or Last In, First Out (LIFO). This feature is particularly valuable for dynamic campaigns, where new numbers are continuously added using our REST API. Depending on your needs, you can now decide whether SIP Caller should prioritize calling the most recently added numbers or follow the traditional approach of calling numbers in the order they were added. |
FIFO vs. LIFO: Choosing the Right Strategy
- FIFO (First In, First Out): Numbers are dialed in the order they were added. This is useful for campaigns where processing contacts sequentially is essential, such as customer follow-ups or scheduled callbacks.
- LIFO (Last In, First Out): The most recently added numbers are dialed first. This is ideal for time-sensitive campaigns, ensuring that the newest contacts get called as soon as possible.
How to Configure
SIP Caller users can easily configure their preferred number selection mode within the campaign settings. It’s also possible to define a preferred default value, so every new campaign is pre-configured with the selected mode. This added flexibility allows businesses to fine-tune their outreach strategy for maximum efficiency.
