OpenAI and Grok are now available as AI Providers in SIP Caller, joining our existing support for Microsoft Azure and Google Gemini.
With this update, SIP Caller now offers four leading AI providers to power your AI Conversational Agents and AI-Based Voicemail Detection, giving you even more flexibility to build the outbound calling experience that best fits your business.
Whichever provider you choose, the experience inside SIP Caller stays exactly the same. You configure your AI Provider once, then reuse it across as many AI Conversational Agents and AI Voicemail Detection Agents as you need — no changes to how you design instructions, goals, or call handling.
Setting either one up only takes a couple of minutes. Check our step-by-step guides for creating an OpenAI API Key and creating a Grok API Key to get started.
With Azure AI, Gemini AI, Grok, and OpenAI all available side by side, you can now pick the provider that makes the most sense for your business:
As with Azure and Gemini, there is no markup or extra fee from SIP Caller: you connect your own OpenAI or Grok account, and you pay the provider directly for the tokens you consume.
Not sure which provider fits you best? Check our AI Providers Comparison for a breakdown of pricing, features, and the pros and cons of each option.
OpenAI and Grok are available today for all Enterprise plan customers. Head over to the "AI Providers" section under Settings in your SIP Caller console to connect your account and start assigning it to your AI Conversational Agents or AI Voicemail Detection Agents.
