Understanding Power Dialer Mode

The Power Dialer mode in SIP Caller is designed for maximum calling throughput. When you select this mode, SIP Caller will place outbound calls as quickly as possible, within the limits defined by your plan and your PBX extension settings.

How It Works

In Power Dialer mode, SIP Caller does not wait for agent availability before placing calls. Instead, it focuses on high-speed outbound calling, ideal for use cases like:

  • Playing voice messages
  • Collecting responses via DTMF
  • Running surveys or political campaigns
  • Reaching as many contacts as possible in a short time

The system makes calls continuously until it hits one of the following limits:

  • The maximum simultaneous calls allowed by your subscription plan
  • The maximum simultaneous calls allowed for the PBX extension being used

⚡ Power Dialer = Fastest possible calling rate within your configured limits.

Key Benefits

  • 🚀 Speed: Calls are placed back-to-back to maximize output.
  • 🧩 No PBX installation required: No software needs to be installed on your PBX server. SIP Caller connects using standard SIP/RTP, making it easy to deploy.
  • 📈 Ideal for automated interactions: Great for campaigns that don't require real-time conversations with agents.

Technical Requirements

All you need is:

  • A working SIP/RTP connection from SIP Caller to your PBX
  • An extension with permissions to place outbound calls
  • Adequate limits configured on the PBX (to match your campaign goals and plan)

No additional software, dialer scripts, or PBX-side configuration is needed.

When to Use Power Dialer

Choose Power Dialer mode when:

  • You are not transferring calls to agents
  • You want to play an announcement or use Text-to-Speech
  • You are collecting keypad responses (e.g., surveys)
  • You are sending urgent mass notifications (e.g., outages, public alerts)

If your campaign involves live agent interactions, consider using the Predictive Dialer mode instead.
